Multimedia project for New Mexico PBS
While at New Mexico PBS, Cod and Cowboy founder Ian Mentken designed and developed a multimedia project in conjunction with their documentary series New Mexico and the Vietnam War: Portrait of a Generation. The project employed a carousel interface that expanded to include videos interviews, ephemera, and additional biographic content that brought the stories of the veterans vividly to life.

MITSO had assembled 30 years of the work of their conductor David Epstein shortly after his passing for the purpose of releasing a multi-CD boxed collection of all of his performances. They contracted us to produce album art for the collection.

Video
Client: iMBY Storage Project
This video was written and created by Cod and Cowboy founder Ian Mentken in support of his nonprofit organization, iMBY Storage Project, which provides storage services to the unhoused. Ian used stock video from Adobe as well as a Creative Commons soundtrack called East Side Dark Street Blues by Kana Kamitsubo-Markovic. Ian provided the voiceover narration.

The photos used in the video are mainly creative common images but a handful were proprietary and I secured the necessary permissions. The audio track, titled "Love is What's Missing" by Clarence Simpson, likewise required permission to secure. Cod and Cowboy founder Ian Mentken handled the voice-over narration.
